Senior Director of Review

AIDS Intervention Management Program (AIMS)

Ms. Ferguson directs the day-to-day activities of AIMS review operations, including planning and scheduling of reviews and preparation of individual provider review progress and status reports, in cooperation with the AIMS Director of Data Analysis.

Ms. Ferguson also manages the implementation and development of new review programs including Adult Day Treatment Centers, HIV Special Needs Plans and Mental Health Centers. She works closely with the AIDS Institute monitoring changes in quality of care standards as HIV disease management evolves.

She develops new quality of care algorithms to meet AIDS Institute criteria and coordinates training and reliability testing of all review staff. In addition, Ms. Ferguson provides technical assistance to facilities on the quality of care review process.

Ms. Ferguson has practiced as a Registered Nurse for more than two decades and taught Health Sciences in Australia and South East Asia.

Ms. Ferguson holds a Diploma in Education and a B.A. from the University of Sydney, Australia. She received a Certificate of General Nursing from Hornsby & Ku-Ring-Gai Hospital, NSW, Australia.
